S.M.A.R.T.I.E.S.
S.M.A.R.T.I.E.S. is a special class that provides education to the newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetes CHOC patients and their families. Here you will learn about the basic skills and principles of safely managing Type 1 diabetes as a follow up to the hospital education. This class is taught by CHOC RN/CDE clinical staff.
You MUST complete the Post S.M.A.R.T.I.E.S. New Onset Class Questionnaire upon completing the video in order for your CHOC Diabetes Team to know that you have attended the class.
